Soulbox Terms of Service

By using Soulbox, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Soulbox, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Soulbox is a personal experience and memory tracking application. We provide tools to capture, organize, search, share, and compile your personal experiences using text, photos, videos, audio, and AI-powered features.

3. Your Account

You must be 13 or older to create a Soulbox account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Soulbox, including experiences, stories, photos, videos, audio recordings, and contacts. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the app's features, including AI-powered transcription, summarization, search, image generation, and compilation, and showing your memories to the people you choose to share them with.

Every memory starts private. When you share a memory, the people you share it with can see it and add their side, such as their own story, voice recordings, and photos. You are responsible for what you share and add. How we handle your information, including who can see it, is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. AI-Powered Features

Soulbox uses artificial intelligence, provided by the third-party services listed in our Privacy Policy, to provide features such as transcription, summarization, search, image generation, and compilation. AI-generated content may not always be accurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated output. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation are governed by Apple's policies. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with notice.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Soulbox to store, transmit, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

Soulbox is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any loss of data, interruption of service, or damages arising from your use of the app. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Data Loss

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we are not responsible for any loss or corruption of data. We recommend keeping personal backups of important content.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete Account, or by contacting us through soulboxapp.com/support or at soulboxapp@gmail.com. What deleting your account removes is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States.
